Camping in the Uintas...

This weekend we camped overnight in the Uintas. It was a pretty rough ride getting up to our camping spot, but thanks to Robb's off-roading experience, we made it with only some minor car-sickness. We were so tired when we got there that we only stayed up long enough to eat Robb's fabulous fajita dinner and then we crashed right away. When we got up in the morning, it was snowing! We didn't expect that in September, but it made the scenery gorgeous and we were able to get some great pictures.

Can it be true?

Yes, it's true...and for those of you who thought it might never happen (including me!)...I'm engaged! Chase and I met last fall in our singles ward. After nearly a year of lots of adventures together, we are getting married on December 15. We can't wait! Life will be pretty busy, as I just started nursing school and Chase is getting into his classes for English teaching. We'll be sticking around the Salt Lake area for awhile, so let's keep in touch, everyone!

Lava Hot Springs

A few weeks ago we headed up to Lava Hot Springs, in Idaho, with the family...if you don't count the millions of hornets swarming all over our food and the trains waking us up all night, it was a great time! Here are some pictures of the adventures...
